LAVISSH INN AND SUITES, Bellingham – Your ideal downtown stay

The hotel room was tight with 2 queen beds, not leaving much room to move around, and had a strong cigarette smoke smell. The location was nearly the furthest away from the lobby but was not next to the highway, making it convenient for a quiet stay. The service was nice and friendly, with helpful guidance about getting around town and transparent communication about charges. Dining options were pretty good but lacked healthy choices, especially for breakfast.

The hotel rooms were clean and simple, albeit slightly dated, offering a cozy and quiet stay. The friendly service was a highlight, although it was a bit off-putting to see doors propped open with pizza boxes for smoking. The location, conveniently accessed with a room card, was secure but too close to the highway entrance. While the dining was adequate and tasty, the halal products were a positive addition. Overall, a budget-friendly motel with some room for improvement in certain areas.

The hotel is conveniently located right off I-5, near Fred Meyer and Whole Foods, making it easy to access and offering a variety of nearby amenities. The rooms are comfortable but had an unfortunate incident with lack of elevator access. The service was friendly overall, though some staff members may need additional training for assisting handicapped guests.

I loved the convenience of being able to grab food and relax in my room, although the noise from Hwy 5 was a bit of a drawback. The dining experience offered standard hotel fare with a sugar-heavy breakfast but lacked healthier options. Despite these, the facilities were satisfactory, meeting my needs during my stay.
